    Description

VERY RARE Circa 1915 Official Boy Scout Card-with Robert Baden-Powell!
This is a VERY RARE Official Boy Scout postcard that includes the founder of scouting-William Baden-Powell!
The gentleman standing third from the left is Robert Baden-Powell.
This identification is made by the style of uniform, medals, walking cane, and facial features.
I have included another picture to confirm this identity.
This is an amazing Boy Scout collectible.
I have not seen another Boy Scout postcard that includes Baden-Powell in the picture available.
    Please see the pictures.
A little history of this card- These were “Activity Cards” published between 1913-1916.
The Boy Scouts of America published a series of 30 numbered black and white postcards showing scouting activities.
This is a Type III card marked “Series 252” and circa 1915-16.
The Scout activity postcards were advertised as item No. 3029 inn the Fifth Annual Catalog of December 15, 1916.
At that time, they could be purchased for one penny each or a set of thirty for twenty-five cents.
Today they are very difficult to find and must be considered rare.
