VINTAGE REAL PHOTO POSTCARD (RPPC) with caption at bottom, which is somewhat difficult to see: "171 San Blas Medicine Man and Wife."
He’s well on his years, and so is she. And still respected as a liaison to the spirits.
DATE. This particular AZO stamp box was in use 1910 - 1930.
SIZE. Approximately 5 7/16 x 3 7/16 inches.
CONDITION. Stain at upper left, on photo and border. Small brown spot at top, and another at bottom, both on photo and border. Other tiny spots and specks on photo. Brown mark or stain in the trees at upper right. Some wear at corners. Heavy soiling on back.
APPEARANCE. Very good to excellent tones. Very good contrast. Lots of natural light. His shirt is bright white, and there are wonderful patterns and details to her attire. A strong, beautiful portrait.
