The Esperanza Gold Mining and Development Company owned mines in Shasta County, California, within the Harrison Gulch Mining District. The company’s Esperanza Mine was on 160 acres of claims, about 1 ½ miles east of Harrison Gulch, adjacent to the Midas Mine. The president of the Esperanza Gold Mining company, A. J. Oswald, was also superintendent of the Midas Mine.
